Recently, in order to continue strengthening professional construction and continuously improve the international school-running ability, the School of Port and Shipping Logistics undertook the 9 courses taught by the Arab Institute of Science, Technology and Shipping - Port Training Institute (AASTMT-PTI) cooperation project, from Gwadar University, Pakistan. Hussain Shay Shah, a young teacher of the local Teacher Training Program of Pakistan-China Vocational and Technical College, arrived at our Institute for a 3-month advanced study. In order to welcome this guest from afar, the School of Port and Shipping Logistics held a welcome ceremony, showing the strong atmosphere of strengthening international cooperation and exchanges.
During the period of further study in the school, the School of Port and Shipping Logistics developed a detailed learning task list of 16 courses. Hussain not only studied deeply in the classroom, but also participated in a wealth of practical courses, and discussed and exchanged professional knowledge and teaching methods in the field of port and shipping logistics with teachers of the college. On November 1st, I visited Qingdao Port Dongjiakou Ore Terminal Co., LTD., and had a comprehensive understanding of the ore handling process. This study not only provided a valuable learning opportunity for Hussain Shay Shah, but also laid a solid foundation for the exchange and cooperation between the School of Port Logistics and Pakistani universities. The School will continue to deepen international cooperation and exchanges, and jointly promote the international development of education in the field of port and shipping logistics.
