The School of Artificial Intelligence is a sub-school at Qingdao Harbour Vocational & Technical school, with nearly 1,800 full-time students. The school collaborates with iFlytek to offer three programs in software technology, big data technology, and electronic information engineering technology. It also partners with Belarus State University to offer an associate degree in electronic information engineering technology. The school is recognized as a Shandong Province training institution for outsourcing talent and a Qingdao key training institution for outsourcing talent. It is a member of the Qingdao Higher Education Software Service Outsourcing Program Alliance and the Qingdao Higher Education Animation Design and Production Program Alliance. The school holds over 20 patents. With support from Shandong Port Group and driven by innovation, the school provides talent for smart port development. It has formed deep collaborations with renowned domestic and international companies, such as India’s NIIT, Cisco, Qingdao Software Park, and iFlytek, to offer joint programs and implement talent development. This has led to a high-level faculty team, a well-structured curriculum system, and well-equipped training bases both on and off-campus. In recent years, the school has seen continuous improvement in industry service capabilities, talent development, and graduate employment quality.
