The school has strong program offerings, including one national key program, two national modern apprenticeship pilot programs, one provincial specialty program, two programs leading the development of provincial teaching guidelines, and two Qingdao municipal key programs. Its port electromechanical program group is recognized as a provincial-level brand program group and a provincial-level high-performing program group, forming a distinctive talent training system.

The school has a robust faculty, with over 90% holding a master’s degree or higher and over 60% coming from the port industry. About 95% of the faculty are "dual-qualified" teachers. The school features one national-level vocational education teacher innovation team, one Huang Danian-style from Shandong Province teacher team, and one Shandong Province vocational education teacher teaching innovation team.
