Recently， PROF. ISMAIL, President of AASTMT，ALAA MAHMOUD MOHAMED MORSY, Dean of the Port Training Institute and ABIER， Director of Corporate Communications & Public Relations of AASTMT visited the university. Xu Guowang, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute, and Zhou Guanzhong, member of the Party Committee and vice President of the Institute attended the symposium. Shandong Port International Cooperation Department and relevant departments of the college participated in the discussion and exchange. Zhao Qingsong, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of the college, presided over the discussion and exchange.

Xu Guowang welcomed Ismail's visit to the university, briefly introduced the basic situation of the college, and reviewed the cooperation and exchanges between the two universities. He said that Egypt is an ancient civilization in the world, with a long and profound history and culture, and the Arab College of Science, Technology and Shipping is an important and influential university in the Arab League. He hoped that the two sides will cooperate to build the "Egyptian Ban-Mo College (Shandong Port)". Carry out in-depth cooperation in establishing and improving school running institutions, implementing joint training of academic qualifications, promoting the certification of professional standards in ports and shipping, developing teaching and training resources, jointly carrying out training projects, conducting teacher exchange and training, serving local economic and social development, and organizing students to study in China, so as to jointly create more quality projects and mechanism platforms. It will contribute to China-Egypt exchanges in education, science, technology and people-to-people exchanges and make greater contributions to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Ismail Farag introduced the basic situation of the AASTMT, and said that the college has distinct characteristics and obvious advantages in the field of port and shipping vocational education. He hopes to take the signing of the cooperation agreement on port logistics and port machinery joint overseas academic education project as an opportunity to further expand the fields of cooperation between the two sides and jointly train more high-quality port and shipping talents. Work together to continue to promote the high-quality development of port and shipping vocational education in the world, jointly carry out more quality training projects, jointly expand the international port and shipping training market, and help the economic development of North Africa and the Mediterranean coast region.

During the discussion and exchange, the Academy signed a cooperation agreement with the Port Training Institute of the Arab Institute of Science, Technology and Shipping on the joint overseas education project of port logistics and port machinery, and Xu Guo-Wang awarded the honorary professor appointment letter of the Academy to professors Ismail Farag and Alaa Mursi.

The signing of the project has achieved an important breakthrough in the overseas education of the college. On the basis of overseas port and shipping personnel training, it has further enriched the content of the "Egyptian Ban-Mo College (Shandong Port)" jointly built by the two sides, and innovated a new mode of Sino-foreign cooperation in running a school. It will surely deepen the integration of industry and education, school-enterprise cooperation, improve the level of vocational education opening to the outside world, and promote the education, science and technology and cultural exchanges between China and Egypt. We will make greater contribution to the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.

It is reported that the joint overseas education project of port logistics and port machinery carried out by QHVTC and the AASTMT is jointly developed by the two sides, and the college undertakes 16 professional courses and Chinese teaching tasks. The Academy's two professional standards for Port and Shipping Management and Port Machinery and Intelligent Control and 16 course standards will be accredited by the Egyptian Ministry of Education. The project will recruit full-time students in Egypt to carry out overseas academic education, and students will obtain the graduation certificate of the college and the graduation diploma of the Port Training College after passing the graduation requirements of all courses.
